Speaking at an event organized by the Adana Chamber of Industry, UAE Deputy Ambassador in Ankara Dr. Moza Al Hosani stated that they aim to increase the trade volume between the two countries to 40 billion dollars, thanks to the visions of UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. She highlighted that Adana's foreign trade with the UAE was recorded at a total of 53 million dollars.

The Adana Chamber of Industry organized the "UAE Embassy in Ankara Business Meetings" event. The event was held at the Adana Chamber of Industry Sakıp Sabancı Meeting Hall and was attended by UAE Deputy Ambassador in Ankara Dr. Moza Al Hosani, President of the Adana Chamber of Industry Assembly İsrafil Uçurum, Vice President of the Assembly İsmail Yağmur, UAE Embassy in Ankara Economic Counselor Ahmed Salama, Secretary General of Adana Industry Veli Oğuz, and numerous businesspeople.

Dr. Moza Al Hosani thanked the Adana Chamber of Industry for organizing the event, stating, "Thanks to the visions of UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we aim to increase our trade volume to 40 billion dollars. Our relations are extremely positive and strong. I believe this visit will yield positive results."
Dr. Al Hosani invited participants to explore and evaluate the opportunities in the UAE.
At the event, which was also attended online by UAE Ministry of Economy Official Ibrahim Alhosani, UAE Embassy in Ankara Economic Counselor Ahmed Salama gave a presentation on trade and investment opportunities with the UAE.

Addressing the importance of trade relations between the UAE and Turkey, President of the Adana Chamber of Industry Assembly İsrafil Uçurum said, "In 2022, the UAE conducted 420 billion dollars in imports and 516 billion dollars in exports. Turkey ranked 5th in UAE imports and 10th in exports. The trade volume between the two countries was around 9 billion dollars in 2022 and increased by 111% to reach 19.5 billion dollars in 2023. Adana's foreign trade with the UAE in 2023 was recorded at 25 million dollars in exports and 29 million dollars in imports, totaling 53 million dollars. The Çukurova region of Adana is an important supplier for many sectors needed by the UAE."
Uçurum emphasized the need to further develop trade relations and increase cooperation opportunities.
