Signatures Signed Between Turkey and UAE

 



A memorandum of cooperation in the field of social services was signed between Turkey and the UAE. Within the scope of the agreement, knowledge, experience, and good practice examples will be shared on empowering families and women, developing policies for the employment of women, ensuring the full and effective participation of disabled individuals in social life, and promoting active aging. Under the leadership of Emine Erdoğan, the wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, a memorandum of cooperation in the field of social services was signed between the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Community Development of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).


At the ceremony held at the Presidential Complex, the memorandum was signed on behalf of Turkey by the Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş and on behalf of the UAE by the Minister of Community Development Shamma bint Sohail Faris Al Mazrouei.


Additionally, cooperation was established between the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Turkey and the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation for the reconstruction, maintenance, and development of the Sheikh Zayed Children's Homes Complex in Istanbul.


This memorandum of understanding was signed on behalf of the Ministry by the General Director of Child Services Ayşegül Yıldırım Kara and on behalf of the Foundation by the General Director Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi.


In her speech, Minister Göktaş stated that the cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Turkey is based on a long-standing relationship.
